Their capacity to retain shape in the direction of the weft is far superior to that of traditional textiles. This exclusive benefit is of primary importance when textiles are tensioned over structures.

A thicker coating at the top of the yarns for extra longevity.
The extraordinary lightness of the canvass plays a crucial role when it comes to handling and positioning. It is Ferrari’s Preconstraint process that has made this possible while at the same time guaranteeing a thicker coating at the top of the yarns. The polyester structure of the textile is therefore better protected against atmostspheric polluting agents.

LONGEVITY
The Preconstraint® composite membranes benefit from a thicker coating at the top of the threads, and consequently the generic membrane ranges enjoy an outstanding level of mechanical resistance over time and are significantly easier to handle (lightness).


TEAR STRENGTH
In the event of an accidental tear or perforation during assembly or as a result of vandalism, the high-tenacity structure of the textile prevents it from spreading.

SIMPLIFIED MAINTENANCE
The surface treatment on the generic membranes makes maintenance even easier. A mechanical or manual clean with a Ferrari® detergent is a ll it takes to preserve the textile original good looks.

FIRE SAFETY
The generic membranes composite textiles to the international fire standards in foce for buildings open to the general public. They do not drip and are self-extinguising (automatic smoke clearance and flames are unable to spread)

CR TREATMENT
To eliminate capillarity problems, the Generic Membranes (translucent white) benefit from an exclusive CR (Capillarity Resistance), anti-wicking treatment.
